QUICK CURL DOLLS
QCB1
Quick Curl Barbie 1972. It would be quiet rare to find one of these dolls
with the hair in immaculate shape. This is one of those that is not.
Her hair is quite matted, I am sure with lots of work it can be fixed.
This doll is wearing one of the extra hair pieces that comes with the doll.
She is also wearing her original dress, which is in mint condition. Her
twist n turn waist is loose. but not bad. Her legs are excellent in that
they click and hold a pose great! And her legs move at the hips (lots of these
dolls have legs that break off of the hips because they tighten up).
SOLD
DQCB1.
Deluxe Quick Curl Barbie 1975. Absolutely mint! Wearing original
turquoise dress, shawl, beads and includes all accessories (extra hairpiece with
tie, shoes, 2 barrettes, 2 ribbons, rubberband, white brush, comb, curler and
white "X" doll stand). Hair is great. Original beads.
Very clean doll. Everything works, knees, hips, etc excellent! A great
doll from those 70's SOLD
DQCB2.
Deluxe Quick Curl Barbie 1975. Dressed in original turquoise dress.
Hair needs to be restyled. She has the hands of the first issue of Quick
Curl dolls (one turned, one palm facing to the back). Both hips work, both
knees click and hold a pose. Overall doll is nice. She just needs a
fix up hairdo. SOLD
QCMA1.
Quick Curl Miss America. 1973. Dressed in original dress, cape and
crown, which are all in very good condition. Also included is her staff,
bouquet of roses, original brush and curler, 2 hair ribbons, 2 barrettes).
Missing shoes, comb and stand. Hair is slightly matted, but
it really doesn't look that bad. Someone with alot of patience could
easily comb it out. Knees click and hold a pose excellent! She
has such a beautiful face! A great addition to your 70's collection!
SOLD
DQCPJ2.
Deluxe Quick Curl PJ. 1975. Doll is in very good condition.
Includes original bead necklace. Redressed in first Quick Curl's pink
check dress. Hair is slightly matted. There are a couple areas where
the original curl is still there (in front). Legs bend perfectly at the
knees, but she appears to be slightly bowlegged. Dress her in a long dress
and it would not be noticeable. Her left hand appears to be slightly
bitten, but I didn't notice it till I went to put the dress over it, so it it
not bad. Overall a nice doll. SOLD
QCK2.
Quick Curl Kelley. 1972. Very Good. Her hair is recombed and
is really not bad. Reminds me of the vintage Midge flip. Dressed in
original green check dress that is in very good shape. Both knees click
and hold a pose. Overall these Kelley dolls have a beautiful face and
expression. SOLD
QCK3.
Quick Curl Kelley. 1972. Very Good. Dressed in original green check dress. This doll is actually prettier than the other two.
One big major flaw. While cleaning the doll, her left leg fell off at the
hip. Otherwise she would be excellent because both knees click and hold a
pose. Her hair is recombed but looks great because it is longer and more
brown than red in color. Overall a great doll, just needs a little hip
surgery. SOLD
